In a thunder of footsteps, fitness enthusiasts and charity supporters will be returning to Banyan Tree Bangkok on Sunday 3rd October for the 12th Vertical Marathon, where the finishing point for the race is at Vertigo on the 61st floor The challenge of running up 1,093 steps attracts participants of all ages and the time to beat is 6 minutes and 27 seconds, previously achieved again by Thai elite runner.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to the “HIV Formula Feeding Fund”, a Thai Red Cross initiative under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali. The small registration fee of Baht 350 per person includes the official marathon t-shirt. In addition, trophies from HRH Princess Soamsawali, luxurious accommodation and gift certificates are also up for grabs for the winners. Help us to support HIV patients, by registering to participate in the marathon or just coming along to watch. We are aiming to beat last year’s total of Baht 700,000.

The race will start in front of Thai Wah 1 and conclude on Banyan Tree Bangkok 61st Floor, a distance of 196 M or 1,093 steps
