The Championship race will be centered at the Resort and will incorporate the Laguna Phuket Triathlon's trademark.

The Championship will be held on the traditional weekend of the Laguna Phuket Triathlon, one of the most popular destination races of all time. Over the years, this race attracted many of the sport's top stars such as Mark Allen, Paula Newby-Fraser, Craig Alexander and Samantha McGlone, who have routinely listed Laguna Phuket as a favorite race due to its venue, organization and tourism experience.

Course:

1.9km Swim: Two-bodies of water swim course including a section in the Andaman Sea, a beach run-over and a section in a Resort lagoon. See Map

90.1km Bike: The bike course will be challenging and spectacular with hilly sections and winding rural roads through rubber plantations and villages. See Map

21.1km Run: The two-loop flat run will include Resort roads, paved paths and grass golf-course sections. See Map

Entry Conditions / Refund and Withdrawal Policy:

• Closing date for entries is 31 October 2010, unless registration reaches capacity in which case it will close prior to that date
• Entry is non-transferable to another competitor and you may not sell your entry to another competitor
• Entry is non-transferable to next year's competition
• Entry Fee is partially refundable prior to 31 October 2010, as follows:
  • Individual Triathlon Entry - THB 3,200.- for Non-Thai
  • Individual Triathlon Entry - THB 2,200.- for Thai
• Entry cancellations after 31 October 2010 are non-refundable

Qualification and Open Entry:

Entry is open through qualification at international events as well as an open division for general entry (not eligible for awards), athletes from all corners of the Ironman world will have the opportunity to race at the Ironman 70.3 Asia Pacific Championship, with slots on offer at new and existing Ironman 70.3 races.
