In our October Newsletter, we are pleased to announce the launch of the 7th Laguna Phuket International Marathon, already with record entries for 2012!
Online Registration is now available for the Song Hong Half Marathon in Hanoi, Vietnam, 11 December 2011. Chiang Mai Marathon will be held on 25 December 2011, online registration and accommodation are now available online. Ironman Melbourne was the fastest Ironman entry sellout to date! Go Adventure Asia has allocated slots available in combination with accommodation for Ironman Melbourne. The Song Hong Half Marathon - 11 December 2011

Song Hong Half Marathon is a grass root event. There will be finisher medals for half marathon participants only. Join the run for a real local Hanoi experience. This is the first year it is open to international participants. The event committee are looking for your support to help develop the running scene in Hanoi and to support the Blue Dragon charity.
Hanoi is a vibrant city where traditional Vietnamese culture is laced with Western influences, what better place to visit and run the annual Song Hong ½ marathon or 10K races! The Red River Runners are a group of running enthusiasts who invite participants to enjoy a morning run amongst a few of the many different Hanoi districts - through Ciputra’s wide streets; to Tay Ho roads full of traffic; around fishermen with lines in potholes and random motorbikes on the footpaths; past star-struck lovers enjoying the lake views to grandparents exercising on the stairs.

The Chiang Mai Marathon - 25 December 2011

The The race is set in Chiang Mai, the largest and most culturally significant city in northern Thailand with the start point at the Three Kings Monument, one of Chiang Mai's best known landmarks!

The Vertical Marathon


In a thunder of footsteps, fitness enthusiasts and charity supporters will be returning to Banyan Tree Bangkok on Saturday 29th October for the 13th Vertical Marathon, where the finishing point for the race is at Vertigo on the 61st floor The challenge of running up 1,093 steps attracts participants of all ages and the time to beat is 6 minutes and 12 seconds, previously achieved again by elite runner.

The North Face 100 Thailand - 4 February 2012


The North Face 100 Thailand, is part of six Asia-Pacific countries: China, Australia, Philippines, Japan, Singapore and Thailand, challenging runners to the 100km ultra distance. The North Face 100 Thailand offers a distance for everyone including; 100k solo,100km duo which is run in pairs, of 50km each, 50km solo, 25km run and a 10km road race.

Spectacularly picturesque location around Samut Songkram, an area south-west of Bangkok with over 100 temples, surrounded by small villages, floating river markets, rice paddies, palm plantations and lush vegetation. Samut Songkram is a very popular running destination and is most notably famous for previously hosting the famous Temple Run. The course is flat and is comprised of 70% road, 30% trail. The 100k Solo is a 2 x 50k loop, with check-points and aid stations about every 10km.
