Tour Overview:
The package of Ironman Western Australia begins on Thursday December 2, 2010 with athletes arriving at the Perth Airport. At 2.00pm a private bus will take the trip from Perth to Busselton, which is around a 2.5 hour drive. Accommodation in Busselton is at the Abbey Beach Resort.
Each day the tour leaders will assist athletes and partners with course orientation, training sessions, and race registration and also provide informative sessions such as the Q&A coffee and post race breakfast. Please see the below itinerary.
Each athlete and spectator receives a kit bag that will include items such as a Tour T-shirt, cap, socks and sponsors product. Athletes can enter the race at www.ironmanwesternaustralia.com

THURSDAY, 02 DECEMBER 2010:
ARRIVAL DAY – PERTH
Arrive in Perth. The tour team will meet and greet and transfer you to Busselton at 2.00pm. Travelling 2.5 hours south to Busselton.
FRIDAY, 03 DECEMBER 2010:
SWIM, RACE REGISTRATION
Today is a at the swim course. A guest professional athlete will be in attendance.
There will be time to REGISTER after the swim also.Be sure to bring your photo ID.

ATHLETE PARADE AND CARBO PARTY
After you have rested for most of the day, the tour team will pick you up for the athlete parade and carbo party where we have booked a table for all Tour members. After the party we will take you home to your accommodation. Non-athletes need to purchase tickets.

SATURDAY, 04 DECEMBER 2010:
SWIM SESSION AND RACE BRIEFING
Easy swim session before walking over to the compulsory race briefing.

The compulsory race briefing begins at 9:30am after your swim.
The tour bus will take you home after the briefing has ended at 10:15am
BIKE CHECK-IN
Tri Travel will meet you at your hotel at the below times to collect your race kit bags and transport them to Barnard Park. You will then ride to the bike check-in area and meet the tour bus (at a pre determined location) to collect your bags. After your bike and gear is checked-in, the bus will take you home.

The Tour bus will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the race start.

Early morning coach transfer to Perth Airport in time to meet your ongoing flight. Please follow the instructions given to you by Tri Travel relating to meeting the bus at your hotel.
