Welcome to Langkawi Island, Malaysia. Arrival at Langkawi airport - Meet & Greet at the airport - Transfer (incl. oversized bike cases) to the hotel of your choice. Overnight at the hotel of choice.

WEDNESDAY, 24 FEBRUARY 2010: LANGKAWI (B/L/-)

• 09:00 AM - 12:30 PM – half day round island tour with lunch
  Highlights include: Mahsuri Tomb, where the sad legend of a beautiful princess will be related to you, a fishing village, Cenang Beach, Eagle Square and the capital of Kuah, where you will have time for individual shopping at the duty free shops.
  ** Tour does not include entrance fee into Underwater World of RM38/person/entry!
  
• Noon – free & easy – dinner on own arrangements
• In the afternoon guided race course inspection with a van
• Return to hotel - Overnight at the hotel of choice

THURSDAY, 25 FEBRUARY 2010: LANGKAWI (B/L/-)

• 08:00 AM - 02:30 PM – Eagle Feeding & Mangrove tour with pack lunch

Pick up from hotel & transfer to KILIM Jetty – take a boat ride on the KILIM River & sight-seeing into the mangroves to arrive at the KILIM Nature Park, a small forest reserve spread over 100 sq m, featuring a beautiful mix of well protected green mangrove forests, isolated white beaches & blue lagoons. Cruising along the calm winding river, you will see the wonders of the park’s marine ecosystem, flora & fauna like the overhanging BOGAK Trees, Brown Eagles, the mangroves inhabitants such as tree crabs, mudskippers (fish that lives on land & water), iguanas, dusky leaf monkeys, squirrels, macaques, abundance of bird life & others small wildlife. Watch the Brahminy Kite Eagle and the White Belly Sea Eagle in action trying to outwit each other during the 'Eagle Feeding' session. Enjoy the scenic view of unique limestone rock formations emerging from the floor of the mangrove swamps & the sea. View the half submerged Crocodile cave; the boat will only bring you to the entrance. Later, explore the 'Bat Cave' to see the millions yr old rock formations steeped in fabled tales of mystery & romance. Look out for ancient inscriptions on the wall. A wooden plank walkway allows visitors easy access into the cave for exploration with your guide. Residents of the dark chambers are thousands of bats hooked to the ceiling of the cave. After this, we visit a 'Floating Fish Farm' – the attraction here is for you to try feeding the stingrays at this farm; Tour continues cruising the island beaches, enjoy your packed lunch on a secluded beach & transfer back to Pier & hotel after tour.

FRIDAY, 26 FEBRUARY 2010: LANGKAWI (B/L/-)

Breakfast at the hotel. In the afternoon Assistance to get to the Bike check-in at the transition area which will close on that day at 06:00 PM.

SATURDAY, 27 FEBRUARY 2010: RACE DAY – LANGKAWI (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Transition and Start area. (all hotels are in walking distance)

SPOUSE PROGRAM: After athletes finished the swim - around 09:00 AM take the spouses to breakfast and then on the bike course to watch some of the action - Lunch somewhere on the way - see parts of the Marathon run in the afternoon and return to the finish line at about 4:30h to await their athletes to cross the finish line.

SUNDAY, 28 FEBRUARY 2010: RECOVERY & AWARDS DAY – LANGKAWI (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel. Late morning bike pick up and meeting at Sea-view Hotel for results. Evening awards party at Sea-view Hotel NOT included in the Package rates. Overnight at the hotel of your choice.

MONDAY, 01 MARCH 2010: DEPARTURE DAY FROM LANGKAWI (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel & check out. Transfer (incl. oversized bike cases) to the Airport.

• For peak event period, cancellation notice must be received 45 days before arrival or full length of stay is charged on a confirmed booking
